In CVC's Compassionate Care Rooms, the hospitalized pet can be accompanied and nurtured by his family, including overnight. The stress of being away from home is reduced, making conditions optimal for healing. This may be of special significance if the pet's illness is life-threatening.
Compassionate Veterinary Care offers the following services celebrating the special bond between people and their pets:
Our Family Practice goal is to provide services that fulfill needs similar to those fulfilled by pediatricians. The "Pediatric Model," as we call it, dictates how we treat our patients and our clients, of whom we prefer to think of as "pet parents". We offer as many wellness and treatment options for our patients as possible, so our pet parents can make the most informed and best decisions for the care and treatment of their pet.
Our Hospice Practice goal is to provide services - primarily at home - that minimize the suffering of pets during the end stages of their lives, and to provide information and support that minimize the suffering experienced by these pets' owners and families.
